How to Re-register
To re-register with Kinect Australia appropriate professional development must be undertaken during the two year registration term, or the two years prior to the application. This requirement ensures that the individual has maintained current competency and employability as a fitness professional.
Ongoing professional development is an essential component of the Kinect Australia registration process. To satisfy this requirement registrants must attain a minimum of 6 PDP's (professional development points) and submit relevant documentation as proof.
These points may be attained by employment in an appropriate role and the completion of health and fitness education programs which forms the basis of the required professional development.
Registrants, who have not been employed in the fitness industry during the two year registration term and/or the two years prior to the application for re-registration, will be required to obtain at least one PDP through a contact education program.
